Philanthropic organizations must evolve how we create systemic change in our communities. According to Inside Philanthropy, the strategy for how foundations approach generating meaningful change in communities, particularly through the lens of racial equity, needs an overhaul.
Foundations need to lead lasting and impactful change in communities through investing in people and places, supporting multi-sector collaborations, empowering community-led organizations, setting new approaches to financing, and adopting a long-term investment mindset. (https://lnkd.in/gutBAdie)
